Since God made a promise to Abraham, he also made a covenant to make God's promises happen. Circumcision, the Sign of Covenant.

The Lord told Abraham to go to the land of Canaan and He will give it to him to start his nation, just bring along his family descendants.

The Lord took Abraham outside at night and made him look up at the stars at the sky and asked to count them.
“Now look to the heavens and count the stars, if you are able.” Then He told him, “So shall your offspring be.”

After few years, God fulfilled one of His promise to Abraham. He gave him and Sarah their own son and heir, Isaac, despite their old age.

And many years passed, Abraham became the Father of all nations, and his children and people are already billions. The Abrahamic Covenant was fulfilled and done through the help of the Lord and Abraham's righteousness.
