Storyboard Text
- I saw her. Ashley was hiding behind these boys playing Knights. She was wearing an old-fashioned dress but that was definitely her. Chelsea must have seen her too because she always made sure to drop something. Then, she would look around carefully and stuff whatever she dropped back in her pocket. "She's following us. Just like we planned." Chelsea whispers. I pop out an earbud and nod. A few minutes later, I turn a corner and see the Tv station door. "We're here!" I announce loudly. "Now everyone can know how you saved me!" Chelsea giggles. I stare at the door. "What's wrong?" Chelsea asks. I turn around. Then, the world went black.

- What just happened? Why can't I narrate? Where's Ashley? Where's Chelsea? Who was that pirate? Was the woman next to Ashley really her mom? The same mom who tattled on her? Am I dead? Is whatever I'm lying in MOVING? WHY CAN'T I NARRATE?!

- I wake up groggily-I CAN NARRATE AGAIN! WHOOHOO! Ahum...anyway...I wake and find myself in a cart. Headed STRAIGHT FOR A WALL OF FIRE! I can feel the burning heat already. 100 yards...75 yards...55 yards...25 yards...GOODBYE WORLD! Oh wait, I've stopped moving. Am I...flying?
- "Set the poor little thing down gently." A ruff voice says. "Poor thing's too scared to open its eyes." A kind, smooth voice calls back. "It's waking up!" A little boy's voice happily says. I rub my head and look around. "Nice cave," I say. The woman dragon nods. "Why, Thank you. What's your name?" I rub my eyes and stare at the beautiful dragon. "Clara." The woman dragon smiles. "Saphire. My son over there is Claudius. My husband is Gruff." "You guys are beautiful!" I reply. "We saved you after these hot-heads tried to kill you!" Claudius says, bouncing around. "I knew Ashley hated me but trying to kill me? That was wrong." I shake my dizzy head. "You'll be staying here till you get better. You can even stay longer if you'd like." Gruff offers. His voice doesn't sound so mean anymore. "I'd love to stay here!" I smile and play with Claudius for the rest of the night.
- I lost count at 405 days here in the dragon cave. I love it! I sneak back in town sometimes for new clothes. It's too risky for the dragons. Gruff is actually very soft and kind, just like Saphire. She's a great cook. There's only one dragon that eats meat and it only took one bad apple to ruin the tree. "Just like the witches in my favorite book series! Only one of them was bloodthirsty but it took one bad apple to spoil the tree!" I had said. Claw is my favorite out of the three. He's actually way over my age but dragon life spans are longer than long. "I'm only 55,559 years old!" He had told me. Sometimes, their cousin Dasy would visit from Iceland. She smells kinda funky but we love her anyway. At first, dragons from everywhere came to poke and prod at me but now, I'm part of the family. This is my new home.
- Hunters. They came for me. They tried to kill everyone. Dasiy is here visiting. Those Hunters had found the lake in front of the cave but Gruff roared and scared them away for now. I need to leave before I get anyone hurt. Humans are my kind. I know how they think. The dragons are all about peace and harmony. Humans could use that. I've changed with the dragons. I'm just like them, tough but only hurts others to protect. This will hurt them more than anything. Me leaving to save them.
