  • Hello, I am Tom! I am happy that you are here. I am so nervous!! I have no idea what to say or do!!
  • Uh.. Uh.. I am.. Tom. Where do we have to go?
  • Hi I am Sam. Thank you.
  • Next is Sam Andres and Tom Peterson. Please report to room 102.
  • Tom why are you standing in the corner? Lets go! One should never let the interviewer waiting!
  • ROOM 102
  • But but.. what if I say something stupid!?
  • I don't even know how these interview things work!!! I can't do this...
  • Sam, an experienced student, runs into Tom at the internship interview in the waiting area. Tom's body language was incredibly concerning - he seemed lost.
  • Tell me one by one, what makes you stand out as a applicant for this job?
  • Uhh.. Accounting is the only chapter I paid attention to in class! And honestly, the fancy job title got me highly determined!
  • Tom and Sam get called for a group interview.
  • No no Sir.. I.. I meant I love your company
  • ONLY CHAPTERAND FANCY JOB TITLE?? And you think I will hire you!!
  • GET OUT!!!
  • Tom is freaked and feels incredibly underprepared! He hesitates to enter the room and leaves the interviewer waiting!

  • Tom did not have an appropriate answer. His expressions portrayed confusion and lack of knowledge. His response annoyed the interviewer. Whereas, Sam was prepared and confident in what he said.
  • Firm ABC is currently implementing the financial solutions I designed for them during my applied finance course. I solved their cashflow crisis and also helped the company with lower-cost inventory management.
  • Tom gets asked to leave by the interviewer. He lacked basic professionalism and lost the opportunity.
  • Sam got offered the job! The interviewer found his experiences to be impressive. He admired Sam's confidence and the professionalism that he gained from his past experiences.
