- I've been waiting for him
- Nice block,Beowulf
- Out from the marsh, Grendel came to Hrothgar's home, hoping to kill. When he arrived, Herot's warriors were sleeping inside.
- I will fight you, Grendel, without armour or a sword
- Grendel gets closer and by morning, he is ready to enter the Hall for a feast of his own intending to eat the men.
- My arm!
- Grendel bursts into the Hall and snatches the first Geat and ripped him apart.
- There is chaos and panic and then Beowulf steps in. Beowulf has been waiting for Grendel.
- Beowulf and Grendel face off, Grendel strikes, but Beowulf blocks the attack.
- You're a hero, Beowulf!
- Grendel's thought was to run but they engage in a firece hand-to-hand combat. Beowulf shows incredible strength as he grapples with Grendel.
- Beowulf starts to overpower Grendel. Grendel's hatred rises but his power is diminishing. His shoulder snaps and his arm breaks.
- The battle is over after this powerful blow by Beowulf.
- Grendel, badly wounded, escapes the hall and he will eventually die.
- The warriors celebrate their victory and Beowulf is hailed as a hero.
