- I wish everything i touch would turn to gold!!!
- If that's what you wish for.
- It works!! IT really works!!
- AS he began to touch a flower it suddenly turned gold.
- He began to turn everything gold!!
- I cant eat!! Im gonna starve!!!!
- As he began to eat he couldn't because everything he touched turned gold.
- please please take this curse from me!!!
- you have to go to the river and wash the curse away!
- He jumped in the water and washed the gold curse away!!
- Everything returned to normal in the kingdom!!
- In the story, The Golden Touch there's a King named Midas. All that he wanted was gold. He wanted a wish that everything he touched turned into gold. One day this person named Dionysus gave King Midas a wish to touch anything and turn it to gold. He went to the gardened to see if it worked and it did !! He turned the whole garden into gold. The KIng went to the castle because he was hungry. When he was going to eat something it turned to gold. He tried and tried to eat but he couldn't. He went to find Dionysus so he could take the wish back. Dionysus told he had to find the river Pactolus to wash the wish away. He went to the river and jumped in. The wish was washed away and he could finally go back to being a King.
