- hi am phileas i like things in a certain way.
- Phileas Fogg lives in London with his new butler, Passepartout. Phileas likes everything to be a certain way and he follows the same schedule every day.
- Everyday Phileas goes to the Reform Club for lunch, dinner and to play cards with his friends. That night they discuss a robbery at the Bank of England where the robber was dressed like a gentleman.
- That night Phileas and Andrew make a bet that Phileas will travel around the world in 80 days. Phileas will leave that night and he goes home to tell Passepartout.
- Passepartout packed their bags. One has two shirts and three pairs of socks and the other bag has $20,000. Passepartout is shocked about this trip and having to leave that night.

- we are leaving
- They leave London and begin their travels. They board a ship called the Mongolia to take them to Suez. Waiting in Suez is Detective Fix. He is there looking for the bank robber.
- At the passport office, Detective Fix meets Phileas who is dressed as a gentleman and in a rush to leave. Detective Fix thinks that Phileas is the robber and wants to arrest him.
