- Phileas and Passepartout travel to Bombay, India. After running errands, Passepartout goes into an Indian Temple. He gets attacked by priests because he is a foreigner and loses his shoes as he runs out
- Ali, please take Kiouni as a thank you for helping us.
- Passepartout gets back to the train and heads to Calcutta with Phileas. Suddenly the train tracks end and they have to find a way to get to the next train station. Phileas buys an elephant named Kiouni and hires a guide named Ali.
- I sentence you to 1 week in jail for entering the temple!
- In the jungle, the men see a group of bandits who have kidnapped an Indian woman named Aouda. They decide to rescue her in the middle of the night.
- I will pay bail money so Passepartout does not have to go to jail.
- When they get to the next train station, Phileas gives Kiouni to Ali as a thank you. Aouda wakes up and is v ery surpeisdd, scared and thankful. She continues to travel with Phileas and Passepartout.
- In Calcutta, Phileas and Passepartout are taken to a judge. Passepartout is under arrest for going into the temple and sentenced to 1 week in jail.
- Phileas pays the bail money to get Passepartout out of having to go to jail so that they can continue their journey. Detective Fix has been following them and is frustrated that he has not stopped them yet.
