- Hi! I need a boat to take us to Liverpool
- we are running out of coal.
- Phileas, you are under arrest!
- Why?
- Phileas hires a boat but Captain Speedy agrees to bring them to Bordeax, France. Once they hear the journey story, the crew decides to bring Phileas to Liverpool instead and when Captain Speedy finds out he is very upset.
- I think I lost the bet!
- On December 16, the boat runs ut of coal and they have to burn parts of the ship to keep it going. Phileas pays Captain Speedy enough to buy two boats to allow this to happen.
- Will you marry me?
- yes
- As soon as they step on British soil, Fix arrests Phileas and he goes to jail. Passepartout takes the blame for the arrest sincee he never told Phileas about Fix. Soon they find out the real bank robber has been caught and Phileas is free.
- Yay! I won the bet!!
- Phileas rushed to London only to arrive at 8:50 on Saturday. He is sad because he didn't make it to the Reform Club on time and he thinks he lost the bet.
- The next morning Phileas and Aouda decide to get married. Passepartout goes to the church only to find out that they had their days wrong and today was Saturday, not Sunday.
- Phileas rushes to the Reform Club and gets there with 3 seconds to spare. He wins the bet! He and Aouda still get married!
