Trick or treating isn't something that happens often. Create a social story to help children understand what to expect.

Storyboard Text

  • I put on my costume and get my trick or treat bucket.
  • I choose a house that has a light on.
  • I knock on the door or ring the doorbell.
  • Knock Knock!
  • When someone answers, I say, "trick or treat".
  • You look so cute!
  • Trick or Treat!
  • They give me candy or I choose a piece of candy.
  • I say thank you.
  • You're welcome, have fun!
