- Henry was delighted when Jane gave birth, but was now in a pickle because the doctor said he could only save either the son or the mother. Henry couldn't decide, but Jane told the doctor to save the baby boy. Edward, the heir to the throne was born.

- I hope I don't end up like my cousin Anne Boylen
- Henry chose Anne of Cleves from a painting, and she didn't speak English. In reality, Henry had been tricked into marrying a Protestant to help protect the country against Catholic countries.

- Henry divorced wife number Four, Anne of Cleves, without a care, but it was a friendly divorce and she became the king's belov'd sister in name.
- A FAMILY TRADITION
- Wife number Five, Kathryn Howard, was young and attractive, but Henry called her 'a rose without a thorn'. She was 19 when she married Henry. She was Catholic. Her family used her because Catholics at court were worried about Protestants getting too much power.
- Kathryn had lots of affairs and made fun of Henry behind his back. So, down to the chop for her!

- The two cousins ended up in the same place because they behaved badly behind Henry's back and cheated on him.
