- George and Lennie were flee from Weed to Northern California because of Lennie's actions
- Falling Action
- George and Lennie arrive at the ranch and introduced with everyone like cousins. Curley starts a fight with Lennie because he don't like big guys.
- Resolution
- Curley's wife enters the barn and she starts a conversation with Lennie (She is lonely always). Lennie tells her that he likes to feel soft things, she allows him to touch her hair, but he did not want to stop touched and when she was scared, he grabs in tightly and breaks her neck

- Lennie was hallucinating about George's mom and the rabbits
- George knows that there is no way to save Lennie now and he decides to kill him because if he didn't it Curley was going to do it and George wanna a peaceful dead to Lennie
