The cry of Dolores was a speech created by Father Hidalgo, (Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla) about the end of Spanish rule because he hated the way they treated people in lower classes, and believed people shouldn't be put into groups that way, it wasn't fair. This started the Mexican Revolution and after a near success, he fled north but was captured and killed.
Hidalgo was captured and exectued on July 30th, 1811 after his deafeat at the Battle of Calderon Bridge on Januarary 17,1811. He was excuted by a firing squad.

Agustin de Iturbide was a Mexican soldier and a politician and fought in the war of independence. He was a major role in ending the war and gaining independence from spain.
