- Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He spoke with His apostles.
- Stay in Jerusalem because God will send you an amazing gift.
- Jesus ascended and the apostles stayed at Jerusalem.
- While the Jews gathered, a howling wind came and flames settled on everyone. Everyone was filled with the Holy Spirit that allowed them to speak other languages.
- The devout people outside heard the loud sound and were both shocked and amazed.
- Maybe they are just acting oddly.

- How can they speak our language when they are from Galilee?

- Peter then stepped in and explained what happened and what they can do to receive God's gift as well.
- This is God's gift. Jesus is now in heaven and we are gifted the Holy spirit, as God promised.
- Each of you must repent of your sins and be baptized in the name Jesus Christ, then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
- Those who believed in Peter's preaching were baptized. A total of 3,000 people were baptized that day.
