- Major general winfeild scott was the person to keep wach and order the natives to move. but he he wanted a humane way if people died but many died over the 4 month long walk and 4000-16000 people died along the way
- In my opion the trail of tears should never happen as everyone is equal and should have let them stay and maybe given a tiny amount of land but either way it was a bad idea
