- i heard all things in the heaven and in the earth.And many things in hell. Some people thinks i'm mad...
- But did you see his eye? Did you felt him looking at you? He had the eye of a vulture, a pale blue eye, with a film over it
- and know the story...
- i tremble when i feel him looking at me and my blood ran cold. i feel uncomfortable. It's imposible to say how first ,the idea enter my brain but once conceed it hanted me day and night.
- i'd should end the old man's life and get rid of that eye.
- ... i jumped over him and stabbed him to death.
- One day after waching him sleep all nights and being tierd of hearing the beating of the ols man's heart...
- Then i look at him he was stone dead. No more heartbeat. i smiled gaily and began careffully to dismember the corps. i cut of the head and... the arms and... the legs. then i deposited the part of the body under the planks of the floor
- When the police arrived, i was so confident that i took them to the room. But i still heard the beating pf the hideous heart... He haunted me.
- Oh God, No i can't anymore, that's to much, i shrieked, i admit the deed and tear up the planks. They saw...
- back to now.
- and now i'm here. But now the vulture eye will trouble me no more and you? You fancy me mad?
