- on March 7th, 2029, a meteorite made of stony and silicate minerals collided with the earth at a diagonal path. it is 0.20m in diameter, 6.34kg, and is going 127mph. It crashes into DC and hits a car.
- uh what is that falling from the sky? I think its going to hit our car!
- SWIFTIES4LIFE
- I think that's a meteorite! if it collides with our car, it will most likely damage!
- ......
- quickly, the meteorite hits their car. They did notice the deceleration of the meteorite, but it still is moving quickly and hits their car, making a loud "crash" sound.
- OH NO! SOPHIE

- Lucy starts to examine the car after the hit. she notices some of the pink paint on their car is chipped off, and there is a large dent. the meteorite also appears to have made a dent on the road, where it is laying.
- OMG! OUR LICENSE PLATE IS BROKEN

- it looks like there is a huge dent where it hit, and the meteorite is on the ground! the paint from our car is also chipping, and melted off!
- Elodie Sophie and Lucy are driving down the road when they notice a small space rock that appears to be a meteorite. It had collided with earth and was now falling in a diagonal path from the sky, and was aiming to hit their car.
- Elodie knows exactly why this happened. she explains this all happened because the meteorite collided with earth. the dent was made because of the mass of the meteorite, and the velocity (speed it was falling). she also explains that the reason why it melted the paint off of their car is because when a meteorite plows through the earth's atmosphere, it generates lots of heat, and when it fell onto their car, the heat was still present.
