  • Boston Massacure  (March 10,1773)
  • Britain fought for the control of the 13 colonies. This cost England a lot of money. England won! England then needed to earn more money.
  • Boston Tea Party (December 1773)
  • Rally Mohawks! Bring out your axes and tell King George we'll pay on taxes on his foreign tea!
  •  England taxed all written documents and stamps. You had to pay taxes for letters to other people.
  • Battles of Lexigton & Concord (April 1775)

  • Protests\Boycotts were happening. Things became more violent. Fighting broke out between colonists and soldiers. Britain killed 5 colonists.
  • The Battle of Bunker's Hill (June 1775)

  • Colonists responded to Tea Tax. The Sons of Liberty were disguised as Mowhawk Indians. The Sons of Liberty dumped out 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.

  • British soldiers and colonists fought the battles on Breed's Hill. Colonists shot soldiers while they walked to Boston. "The shot heard around the world."
  • 2,000 soldiers were there. The battle of Bunker's Hill was fought in Charlestown on Breed'"s Hill. To save Stuff the Pariots waited to shoot when they came closer they shot. The Pariots ran out of gunpower. The British captured the fort.
