- In Feb 2015, in Texas, Mike Adams created a revolutionary low tech food system to feed the world. It is called the Mini-Farm Grow Box.
- It uses trash to make containers for growing food in water at home for pennies! Certain parts can be made using a 3-D printer or they can be bought on-line at FoodRising.org.
- Mike says "because real food is under attack, for example, crop loss, harmful chemicals, soil depletion, loss of seed diversity, loss of orchards, agricultural monopolies, we need better strategies to feed the world using decentralized farming."
- With the Mini-Farm Grow box, anyone can easily grow their own food at home for pennies. The Mini-Farm Grow Box minimizes use of resources. It needs only light and water, no soil.
- We need to take better care of our natural resources like water, air, soil! Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!
