Lord of the Flies

- For my project I decided to make an interesting comic to breakdown the plot of Lord of the Flies. I wanted to do this in a fun, easy to read way! In case we need it here's a more detailed breakdown into the plot before the story begins.In the beginning of our story we meet Ralph and Piggy, they meet each other on their way to the lagoon. The boys soon conclude that their plane had been shot down and that there weren't any adults on the island. From this realization we get a good glimpse into their characters. Ralph seemed confident, excited even. Piggy on the other hand was very weary of this whole this. Piggy is a pretty chubby guy who has asthma, wears glasses and it embarrassed of his nickname. Ralph laughs about his insecurity of his nickname and they both begin to feel more comfortable with each other. Ralph and Piggy then find a Conch shell in a pool of water. Ralph digs up the shell and blows on it to gather anyone else who may be on the island. A group of boys comes out of the woods. One group called the Choir Boys led by a boy named Jack. Piggy tries to get everyone's names but jack interrupts him and calls him a fatty. Ralph stands up for his friend and everyone laughs at Piggy. Ralph decides a chief needs to be elected and the boys decide between Jack and Ralph to lead them. Jack believed he should be chief, someone else suggested a vote. Ralph becomes elected and the Choir Boys cheered for his election, which put jack to shame. But Ralph allows Jack to be in charge of the choir and Jack decides for them to be hunters. Ralph and Jack along with another boy, Simon, explore the island and conclude that it is a deserted island. Piggy wanted to go but wasn't allowed, almost establishing his inferiority to the other boys.
- A group of boys were on a plane to escape a terrible war, but their plane got shot down and they crashed on a remote island. This is Ralph and Piggy, two of the boys who crashed on the island.
