- We are turning ourselves into the fuzz.

- When Dally arrived at the church they went to the diner and then to Dairy Queen this is when Johnny told Pony and Dallas apprehensively that he was going to turn himself in. Of course Dally and Pony were surprised as they did not know what would happen to Johnny after he turns himself in.

- "Were here to help you so be quiet."
- Once they were in the car Dally was fuming but Johnny made it worse when he asked Dally, "Did my parents ask about me?" Dally had hated Johnny's parents as his parents acted roguishly around Johnny. Mad, angry, is how Dallas Winston was at Johnny at the moment.

- Don't worry we area bringing you to a hospital you will be okay.
- As Pony,Johnny and Dally pulled up to the church they saw that the church was flaming! Kids faces were incredulous as the teachers realized there were more kids in the church. The man tells them that he is going in to save the kids before the building collapses.

- Pony your ok!
- As Johnny and Ponyboy crawled in through the church to get to the kids. The kids were screaming and crying but Ponyboy and Johnny reached them and got them out the window. Once Ponyboy got out he ended up fainting and get kicked to get he fire out of his jacket.

- In this scene Ponyboy is being brought to the hospital as he was hurt and is going to get the medical attention he needs. The man in the ambulance was proud of his bravery, and made sure that he would be okay and Ponyboy only suffered minor burns and bruises.

- After Ponyboy was sitting at the hospital Darry and Sodapop finally come and they are so happy to see Ponyboy and Darry even cries this was the first time they have seen Darry cry and he told Ponyboy he was so worried about him. This made Ponyboy realize that Darry does care about him as he always felt that Darry never cared about him but now he realizes that he does. A ton of news reporters were trying to crowd them but Darry shooed them away.
