Storyboard Text

  • First Deployment
  • First Child
  • Ramadi
  • The first time Chris had ever left was full of excitement, but only really from him. This was the moment him and his wife started to have problems and didn't know about the long road ahead of them.
  • Fallujah
  • This moment is so important because Chris and his wife had already had a difficult marriage thus far. Having this kid may have been a turning point to his wife Taya, but Chris still left soon after and never really got close with his son.
  • Funeral
  • This is where Chris broke the record for confirmed kills, but remained humble about it and didn't really talk about it. Along with that this is where a buddy of his passed away and where they all got the most action. Ramadi probably hits the hardest for Chris.
  • Coming Home
  • Fallujah was the first place Chris went to war. This isn't where he got the most action, but it's definitely a place he will remember forever.
  • Chris was never really an emotional guy, as most marines aren't. At Marc Lee's funeral though, Chris said there wasn't a dry eye in the place. This was important because it showed how the men actually were close out there and how much they care about eachother.
  • The last time Chris had to come home was something Taya and the rest of his family didn't think would ever come. When he finally arrived, he said he needs to be a father and a husband, which prior to that moment those things were towards the back of the line in his priorities. When Chris finally came home, he realized what was really important in life.
