  • We have no leader! So we can do whatever we want!

  • In an Anarchy there is no authority meaning there are no leaders or anyone in charge. The people allowed to do whatever they want. In this example, two businessmen decide to burn down a store because they have no one in charge to tell them that they can and can't do. This is showing what an anarchy can turn into because sometimes the freedom can get to people's minds and make them justify everything they do.
  • Oligarchy
  • let's discuss the different laws we are going to make for the country
  • A Direct Democracy is a type of government where the citizens can choose how they want the country to function. There are no leaders elected in a Direct Democracy and the citizens all have a sense of power. This is an example of a citizen putting their vote in because they are allowed to make decisions.
  • Theocracy 
  • Everyone is apart of this country because of their religion. God will guide you through life.
  • A dictatorship is a type of government where there is only one individual in charge. In dictatorships, political pluralism and independent media is not allowed. In this example, there are two people in a jail cell talking about how they feel their voices are not being heard. This is showing dictatorship because the single leader created all of the laws and suppressed the rights of the citizens.
  • Monarchy
  • One day you will be the only leader of this country like me!
  • I'm looking forward to it dad!
  • In a Oligarchy, there is a small group of people in charge. They are able discuss topics and pass out laws. In this example, there are 5 leaders and they are discussing different topics and deciding how they are going to run their country.
  • A Theocracy is a government based on their religion. You have to follow the rules of that religion otherwise you don't belong. This is an example of a priest saying how our religion is what bring us together. He is saying that god is what is going to be in charge of our rights. 
  • A monarchy is a type of government where there is one leader. In a monarchy the citizen's position is commonly inherited. In this example, The leader of the country is telling his son that one day he will be the main authority in charge. This is showing that it is a monarchy because usually like said before your position is normally inherited.
