- John the Baptist helps "the one who is coming", by baptizing people. John lives a simple life, because God is all he needs.
- John isn't the Savior
- When people heard that John the Baptist would be in town, they would come across far and wide to listen. He tells people that baptism is a way of showing others, that you believe in him.
- John meets Jesus
- You should be baptizing me. I cannot baptize you Lord.
- When the Pharisees and Sadducees came, to get baptized by John. John told them to only agree to one rule, and that was to feel bad for the wrong things you did. But the men weren't truly sorry, so John didn't baptize them.
- John Baptises Jesus
- This is my Son, I love him and I am pleased with him.
- As John was baptizing people, they began to think the he was the saviour. John heard what they were saying, and told them: "I am baptizing you now, but very soon someone greater than me will come".
- I am baptizing you now, but very soon someone greater that me will come.
- John was baptizing people, then Jesus came to him, and told John to baptize him. John wondered how he could baptize the Lord, he thought the Lord should baptize him.
- How can I, baptize the Lord?
- It's important that I do this now. I am ready and I want to be an example to others and show them that it's important
- Jesus was baptized, and as soon as he was finished, a dove landed on his shoulder, and a crashing voice came from the sky, sang: This is my Son, I love him and I am pleased with him.
