After the incident Hamlets mother scolded him. Just when he was about to attack the Queen there was a voice from the curtains, Polonius's, calling for the guards. Hamlet thought it was Claudius's and stabbed the curtain.
In the next 5 minutes tragedy unfolded.
After hearing Laerte's confession Hamlet thrusted his sword into the King. Laertes soon collapsed. Hamlet's vision became a blur and he drank the last bit of wine to keep Horatio from doing so.
Next, Hamlet was sent to England with Guildenstern and Rosencrantz by Claudius, out of his fear of Hamlet.
After being entrusted by his father to get vengeance on Claudius, Hamlet decided to act as though he's been driven mad from grief.
Hamlet then changed the letter with replacing his own name in the letter with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's instead.
How foolish....
Hamlet soon found a letter in Rosencrantz's bag. It was from Claudius, instructing the King of England to have Hamlet killed when he arrives at the court.

He then returned to Denmark the next day.
In celebration of Hamlets lead, Gertrude decided to drink some wine. Little did she know it was poisoned for her son.
Hamlet decided to twist the murder in the play, "King of Gonzago". He decided for the villian's weapon to be a bottle of poison instead of a knife. Hoping to get a reaction from Claudius..
*choking
When Hamlet returned to Denmark he was welcomed with a "friendly" spar with Laertes, who was enraged at his fathers murderer.
Mother! We must find the culprit! Lock the doors!!
