  • Hey there! I'm Dr. Roberts, today we'll be talking about the transmission and control methods of both AIDS and gonorrhea.
  • Let's begin with AIDS. There are many ways in which AIDS can be transmitted from one person to another. Two ways include via blood transfusion and pregnancy.
  • To control gonorrhea you can refrain from participating in unprotected /unsafe sexual activities with other individuals
  • Gonorrhea can be transmitted by unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected person.

  • There are ways in which the spread of aids can be controlled. These ways include wearing condoms during sex and taking medication on time.
  • Here we see a little girl receiving a blood transfusion. If she receives blood infected with AIDS then she will also get the disease.
  • The lady sitting behind me is 7 months pregnant and she has AIDS. There is a high chance that she may pass on the disease to the baby.
