This could be a good place to stop for the night.. Let's check out that restaurant...
Penny and Paul have a free afternoon so they decide to start planning their holiday. As it’s a warm day they decide to use their ipad in their conservatory instead of going upstairs to use the desktop computer. They have only used the ipad a few times since their daughter, Lizzy, bought it for them at Christmas.
They open the app and it immediately asks them to enter their booking details. Penny tells Paul to go upstairs to find the details that they had posted through from Le Boat a few days ago. Paul is frustrated as he has just sat down. They add their details into the app..
The app shows them the dates they are on their cruise (5th June – 11th June). They notice on the 5th June it says that they will be picking up their boat from Narbonne. Paul wants to see where that is on the map.
The app shows them a map of the Canal du Midi with a marker to show their start position. They decide they want to spend most of their first day looking round Narbonne as Paul is interested in Roman history and he has heard there is lots to see there.
They see there is a restaurant near to a mooring, approx 2hrs away, so Paul clicks on the icon to see what kind of food they serve.
Penny is worried that the restaurant does not allow dogs, however, she reads a comment from a Le Boat customer who went their last year to say that dogs are allowed and that the restaurant staff were friendly. Paul is happy as the restaurant has been rated 4/5 stars and the steak is cheap!
They add the restaurant to their itinerary for their first night of their holiday.
Penny sees on the map there is a vineyard tour pretty close to where they have moored. She clicks on the icon to find out more information.
Penny notices that the tour is closed if it’s raining. They don’t want to commit to this now, so they add it to their favourites list..
