- Marie Van Brittan Brown lived with her husband Albert Brown in New York and they lived in a high crime rate neighborhood and since they were really smart as Albert being an Electronic technician and Marie being a nurse they decided to make a device to monitor the outside of their home and to be safe at a great distances. Why is because they were really scared of a break in and someone robbing them so they made a secure way of seeing someone and letting them in prepared for if they were to do anything funny. They were able to make the first ever home security in 1966.
