- Rainsford is on a yacht traveling throw the water when he finds that the sky its very dark and the clouds are thick like a blanket.

- While on the boat Rainsford falls off and the boat is moving to fast were he cant catch up to it. He heard gun shots and swam towards them.

- He got to an island and met a guy there named General Zaroff, the general has this mean look on his face when Rainsford showed up.
- Resolution
- The General loves hunting and hunted to many animals to count. He wanted to hunt against Rainsford in s hunt were the animal is the most deadliest animal in the world.
- Rainsford didn't want to hunt against the general because of all the experience he had, and the fact that the animal is so deadly. Rainsford wanted to go with Ivan because he didn't want to hunt.
- On the first night Rainsford climbs a tree, then on the third night the general finds Rainsford in his house and Rainsford kills the general.
