Storyboard Text
- Emika Chen grew up in an orphanage after her father died. Now she is struggling to pay for her bills and is in debt. She does bounties by the police for quick money.
- Growing Up Struggling
- Emika Chen attempts to hack into the Opening Ceremony to get a powerup for money. She accidentally hacks into the game and is seen by everyone attending and watching the ceremony.
- Warcross Opening Ceremony
- Hideo invites Emika to Japan to going the Wardraft but his real intentions are to hire her in order to find a hacker by the name of Zero. He offers her 10 million dollars to track Zero down. Emika was somewhat suspicious of this.
- Meeting with Hideo
- Zero exposes a video of Hideo and Emika sharing a kiss outside of his house. Zero also blows up the house of the Phoenix Riders in which Emika loses all her memories of her father and his painting.
- Zero Goes on a Rant
- Emika is kicked out of the Warcross game by Hideo after the aftermath with Zero. Emika finds out what Hideo's real intentions are which is to control the minds of his users with the contact lenses. Emika cannot believe that the person she looked up to and shared a moment with is this horrible person.
- The Truth
- The book is left on a cliff hanger as Emika is left with a decision to go against Hideo and join Zero to take Hideo down for his wrong doings.. I personally believe that Emika Chen will go against Hideo because of all the things he manipulated her into.
