- Page 1/2 Zoe and Kenny are looking at a flyer for Field Day the next day. Zoe is upset because she is not athletic. Her bestfriend Kenny tries to reassure her.
- Page 3/4 At recess, Kenny and Zoe watch the a group called the Medal Clique take over the jungle gym as usual.
- Page 5/6 The Medal Clique has already won several medals during field day. Zoe has an embarrassing moment at each activity. Kenny wins the relay race and the Medal Clique asks him to join.
- Page 7/8 After Field Day, Kenny is hanging out at the Jungle Gym with the Medal Clique instead of Zoe, an they ask him to join them at the Kids Obstacle Course race in two weeks.
- Page 9/10 Zoe asks her parents if she can participate in the race and trains in secret on her own to so she can beat Kenny and The Medal Clique at the race.
- Page 11/12 On the day of the race, Zoe, Kenny, and the Medal Clique are all at the start line getting warmed up and listening to the EmCee encourage them to have fun and work together. The Medal Clique laughs at Zoe for signing up.
- Page 13 Zoe falls behind the group as they run to the first obstacle and struggles to complete it while the others breeze through.
- Page 14 at the next obstacle Anne falls behind because she needs help lifting the tire and Zoe helps her.
- Page 15/16 At the next obstacle Kenny has a hard time holding on to the monkey bars so Zoe and Anne do Jumping Jacks (penalty) with him so he can continue the race.
- Page 17/18 At the rope climb Bobby gets all the way to to the top but is afraid to climb down. Anna, Kenny, and Zoe cheered him on until he was back on the ground
- Page 19/20 At the mud pit, Rico loses his shoe. Bobby, Anne, Kenny, and Zoe help him dig it out and then they climb out together.
- Page 21/22 At the wall (the final obstacle), the group arrive to see that Kat is having a hard time gripping the the of the wall and can't hoist herself over the top. They all take turns lifting each over the wall.
- Page 23/24 All of the kids get over the wall and begin to run towards the finish line separately. Kenny sees Zoe falling behind again and runs back to run with her reminding the Medal Clique what the EmCee said about working together. The other kids follow him and they all cross the finish line together.
- Page 25 When they get back to school on Monday, all of them are wearing their medals and the Zoe is invited to hang out with the Medal Clique at recess. The other kids at their school are shocked.
- Page 26 When a ball rolls into the Jungle Gym area, Bobby begins to tell the kid who tries to retrieve it that he is not allowed. Kenny and Zoe stick up for him, and then Anna, Kat, and Rico join them. They talk about being better friends to their classmates. Bobby then invites the kid to play on the jungle gym and he joins the kick ball game.
- From that day forward, the crew helped teach anyone who wanted to learn their tricks on the Jungle Gym. They also signed up for a new race together and invited any kid in the school who wanted to join and train with them and decided to change their group's name to the "Medal Club Kids"
- Page 28/ 29 A few weeks later the Medal Club Kids are all at the start line again wearing identical shirts, and are joined by other classmates. The Emcee sends them off. "Ready. Set. Go."
- From that day forward, the crew helped teach anyone who wanted to learn their tricks on the Jungle Gym. They also signed up for a new race together and invited any kid in the school who wanted to join and train with them and decided to change their group's name to the "Medal Club Kids"
