- Usually for newborns we test them with the IDF screening initiative, but your son didn't go through with that when he was born, so we are too late to cure it but there are treatments

- But there is a risk if it doesn't work. It could either kill him right there and then. Or he would eventually die as his immune system won't be able to handle the outside

- You can help by being a donor for a bone marrow transplant. If we do the transplant, there is a high chance he won't get sick as often anymore.

- Im sorry, your bone marrow wasn't compatible with his. Enjoy your time with him. He will be gone in 3 days
