How Adler Sees Me

Storyboard Text

  • How Adler would see me
  • How Costa and McCrae would see me
  • How Bandura would see me
  • Alfred Adler was the one who is associated with the Birth Order theory. With the birth order theory, it restarts after 5 years, so I would technically have the qualities of a first born to Adler. He would see me as a rule follower, confident, and someone with high expectations.
  • How Horney would see me
  • I just wish he liked me!
  • Costa and McCrae are founders for the Big Five traits. The five traits include openness, conscientiousness, extravert, agreeableness, and neurotic. In this, I am demonstrating being conscientious because I wanted to be organized and well planned. I did that by having lists, being organized, and cleaning my room.
  • How Rogers would see me
  • One of the terms Bandura is associated with is Self Serving Bias. In this picture it would have been right after I took a test, that I did well on. I am congratulating myself on my hard work that got me here. If I would have done poorly, according to Bandura and this term I would have blamed the teacher for not teaching.
  • How Jung would see me
  • Horney is involved with how one deals with wanting love or receiving a certain amount of love. She would view me as someone who moves away from others and focuses on independence. That would mean she sees me as someone who withdrawals if I feel as if I am wanting love, most of the time.
  • Just move towards people!
  • Rogers is associated with humanistic theories with personality. He would see me as someone who wants to reach my full potential. In this picture I am at work because working helps me become able to set myself up for my future and guide me to self actualization.
  • Jung focuses on the collective unconscious and tests that help determine personality. In this picture I would be getting ready to take a projective test that would then help Jung decide how he feels about me.
