- Hello, Welcome to Mesopotamia! We are located in Southwest Asia, We live in between the Tigris and Euphrates river that helped us live and thrive.
- Soon we moved that way to the zagros foothills, because of the lack of space but so many people we had a food shortage, then we mood to the zagros mountains and replenished the food.
- Fun fact, the rivers weren't all that great, ice would melt off the mountains and into the rivers, it soon caused them to flood. Our people found a way to control the flooding using levees to control it.
- Irrigation canals would get clogged up with Silt ( Fine rock particals ) Our irrigation systems would stop working, soon we realized that we all just need to work together to clean them out regularly with a group of people.
- As cities grew they started to believe that they had more right to water than all the others, that led to the farther city states not getting enough water, and soon led to bloodshed and war, soon they started to build moats around the city states to protect them selves
- From all those trials and errors we soon realized what we needed to do to be a safer and better country, we learned how to heard sheep, plant, make irrigation canals etc! So now we've learned what to do and what not to do
