The Bill of Rights
1st Amendment The first amendment is to have freedom of speech, religion, press, and assembly.
2nd Amendment Is the right to own a gun and for hunting, self defense, and in your home.
3rd Amendment To not have to house a soldier without consent from the person that owns the house.
4th Amendment Having the right to be secure and have nobody come and search their houses unless they have a warrant from a judge.
5th Amendment To protect a person from being forced to witness himself in a criminal case.
6th Amendment It makes sure there is a fast trial, a equal jury, and an attorney if the accused person wants one.
7th Amendment There are 12 peers who decide if you are guilty or not guilty instead of a judge.
8th Amendment Prohibits cruel and unusual punishments like death.
9th Amendment It was designed to make sure the United States did not become to powerful.
10th Amendment Expresses the principle of federalism which is basically the whole Constitution.
