Ruth Bader Ginsburg was born March 15, 1933 in New York. She went on to receive a very prestigious education at various schools like Harvard and Columbia law. After some difficulties finding a job due to her gender, she had an extremely successful career as a lawyer and assisted in several pivotal women's rights cases before eventually being appointed to the Columbia Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals by President Jimmy Carter
On June 14th, 1993 Ginsburg was appointed to the United States Supreme Court by then President Bill Clinton. It was there that he tireless fight for women's rights and equality truthfully began, she gave her judicial input on several landmark cases. Her two most influential being United States v. After many years of tireless effort and hard work towards the causes she cared for, she continued to serve on the United States Supreme Court until she lost a long and hard-fought battle against pancreatic cancer and passed away on September 18th, 2020. She always was and will continue to be one of the most influential figures in modern American history.
