- Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity. It may be considered a sexual orientation or the lack thereof.

- SO HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS ASEXUAL?
- IT IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE Researchers from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) concluded that asexuality is neither a psychiatric condition nor a symptom of a psychological disorder of a sexual nature. And the classification criteria give grounds to refer this state to a special sexual orientation.
- The primary advantage of asexual reproduction is the fact that offspring can be successfully created without the need for a partnership. It occurs over a short period of time without the need to develop the genetics to form a gender. In return, the offspring produced will share the characteristic of their parent identically.

- The greatest disadvantage is the loss of genetic diversity. Since asexual reproduction does not involve the exchange of genetic material, all of the plants are clones. This means they are all vulnerable to the same threats, such as climate change and disease.
