- During the year of 1912 many of countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, and the United States were prospering economically.
- Raw resource production in Germany skyrocketed and they were producing over 400% more coal than before!
- Henry Ford increased productivity through the use of the assembly line making it so it only took 1.5 hour(s) to complete a Model T. Thus decreasing the price from 550$ to 400$.
- Prices for grocery goods were as follows 0.6$ for a loaf of bread, 0.35 for a dozen eggs, and 0.36 for a gallon of milk.
- After the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife by Serbian extremists tensions began to rise between Austria-Hungary and Serbia it was when Serbia refused to hand over all of the people responsible when they went to war on July 28, 1914 bringing their allies with them.
- Before anyone knew it every country was getting involved into this war which was later named World War 1 otherwise know as The Great War. This war caused over 7 million civilian casualties and 10 million military casualties. It was officially over November 11, 1918.
