- Hi my name is Steve
- Hi my name is Steve and welcome to my home. The beautiful woman in the blue dress is my wife Nancy and the young girl is my daughter max and the boy is my son and his name is Will. I work in the logging industry and even though my family isn't wealthy we are happy.
- you have to unjam the logs now or you are fired!
- The woods you see behind my family and I is the area where I work and before you know it all of this land will just be stumps
- Most days I am told to go and chop down trees and bring the lumber to a near by river and the logs will go down the river into a boom where the lumber will be sorted but, when I got to the river i saw that something terrible had happened...
- it was the biggest log jam I had ever seen and the worst part is my boss came up to me and gave me a piece of paper and told me I would work on the log jam.
- unjamming the logs was one of the scariest and most dangerous things I've ever done in my life but I really didn't want to be fired so I had to do it. At least I have a rope attached to me so if i unjam it i don't drown.
- As you can see I made it home safe and I am with my family but I will never forget the day I fixed a log jam. My family was very worried but I told them all about it, but like I said I will never forget the log jam.
