- A man lit himself on fire outside the parliament buildings in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. This is the sixth suicide committed for Mohammed Bouzizi'z Suicide Protest.
- Internet is cut off
- "The protests will spread slower without internet."
- Citizens protest against police brutality, the president (Hosni Mubarak), unfair rights, and poverty. The military attack protesters with tear gas and water cannons.
- Military takes charge
- Protesters attack and burn police departments to protest police brutality.
- Election
- President Mubarak shuts off all of Egypt's internet to slow down spreading of protests.
- President Mubarak steps down as president because of the riots of the people and low safety levels.
- "I am stepping down as president. The military shall carry the county."
- Citizens of Egypt vote for a new president and elect Mohamed Morsi
