- It was a sunny day for being the 15th of December here in Chesterfield, Missouri.I was not used to this type of weather when I used to lived in Florida were all year long there were high temperatures. I would have never imagined this kind of nice weather.
- December 15th a sunny day in Chesterfield, Missouri
- No way!
- I was having breakfast that my mother had prepared for me when my father came to the dining room and gave me the best surprise of my life. I got a spot in the academy football team! They were one of the best clubs in the city so imagine my excitement .
- You made the team
- The next day, the first thing I wanted to do was to go practice but my mother wouldn’t let me unless I did all my homework. Once I had finished I went directly to the football pitch to star practicing on my own. In my head, I couldn’t believe I got a spot on the team, it was beyond my wildest dreams. Thirty minutes in I see a strange man walking towards me and turns out he was my coach. We spent over three hours training together and he was giving me tips and tricks to get better along the way. Once we had finished he told me that I was going to start in the next match against our rivals.
