Dark and Golden-Eyed, They Were

- One day a wonderful family and more people landed on Mars. They searched and did not find Martians. Soon they were happy here while they planted their plants and fruit. Suddenly Laura rushes into the porch she told her parents that an Atom bombs hit New York. The space rockets were destroyed so that means no more rockets are coming.
- We made it to Mars
- Mr. Bittering started worrying about staying in Mars. He rushes into town, and entered the metal shop. He started saying that they should start building a space ship. They did not care about making a ship. Mr. Bittering noticed that Sam's eyes used to be gray, but now they were yellow colored. Sam told him the same thing and it was true his eyes were turning yellow.

- We got to get out of here help me build a rocket.
- Mr. Bittering decided to take a break, and go to the lake with the family. While they were there he noticed Cora's eyes are yellow instead of brown. Cora thought it was nothing and ignored it. Suddenly Dan said, Utha , Mr. Bittering asked how he knew Martian but he just knew that word.
- I love the lake
- When they got back the mom saw the beautiful hills, and saw hills with a cabin. Without noticing their skin were now brown, and eyes were yellow. Though they did not worry about it anymore. Although the family imagined how amazing it would be to visit the cabin up the hills. The town all decided to go to the hills to. They did not take much and stayed there with no worries anymore.
- The cabin is amazing.
- While the family was still at the hills they weren't worried about a thing. Five years later in Earth they won the war. They were able to build more rockets to save the people in Mars. The space mission sent a rocket to Mars.
- We are on our rescue.
- The space mission arrived in Mars. They searched all around town. The rocket men searched in a metal shop, but just found flimsy rocket frames in the shop. They looked around Mars and headed to the hills. They found dark brown skin and yellow eyed Martians in a cabin instead of people. The rocket men noticed they were nice, but weren't sure where the people have gone.
- Hey where did all the people go.
