One rainy Saturday in September, my mom and I went to the mall with my best friend, Michelle and her mom. First, we walked around many clothing stores and ate lunch in the food court. After lunch, we went back to shopping. My mom and Michelle’s mom were helping us find new outfits for school.
Later that day we went to the shoe store. Right on the third shelf, I saw the most perfect pair of shoes. I looked at the price tag and it read $40.00. That would be the rest of the money I had saved from my chores. In addition to this shoe store there were three more we could go look at. So, I chose to wait and see if I could find another shoe I would want.
Next, we went to the boot store. The entire store was on sale! I ran to the aisle with my size and I found the perfect pair of boots for school.
After I tried them on, I loved them even more. As I waited for the register lady I took our a twenty dollar bill. But, when she scanned the bar code the register said they were on sale for $10.00.
Finally, we were all done shopping for school outfits. Since, I chose to look for a better deal on my shoes, and got a way better deal, my mom treated everyone out for ice cream!
