- CONFLICT/RISING ACTION
- Wrongly chosen wrongly slain, a hero Valhalla cannot contain. Nine days hence the sun must go east, Ere the sword of summer unbinds the beast.
- CLIMAX
- RAAAAAAAAH!!!
- The setting of the story is modern day Boston during the winter, and the main characters are Blitzen (Blitz), Hearthstone (Hearth) Samariah-Al-Abbas (Sam), and Magnus Chase. Magnus dies fighting Surtr, the king of Muspellhiem, dubbed "the black one" and falls to the bottom of the Charles where he is rescued by Samariah-al-Abbas, his Valkyrie, and is taken to Valhalla.
- FALLING ACTION
- During Magnus' first dinner in the hall of Valhalla, the Norns decree Samariah finding him wrong, saying "Wrongly chosen, Wrongly slain, A hero Valhalla cannot contain. Nine days hence the sun must go east, Ere the Sword of summer unbinds the beast" this sends Magnus and his friends Blitz and Hearth on a quest to find the sword of summer and keep Fenris Wolf from being freed.
- RESOLUTION
- After the Sword of Summer is found, Magnus and his friends make their way to the island where the Wolf is held, with a new rope Adskoti to replace Glepenir. Magnus' hallmates TJ, Halfborn, Mallory, and X, led by Valkyrie Gunilla confront Magnus to bring him back to Valhalla. Then, Surtr appears and tries to wield the Sword of Summer to unbind Fenris Wolf. A battle breaks out with Enherjar, Valkyries, and a Dwarf and an Elf take on Surt and Fenrir, losing many allies.

- After a gruesome battle, Surtr is cast back to Muspellheim by a rift in the fabric of universes created by the Sword of Summer and Fenris is bound again. The heroes return to Valhalla and are greeted by Odin, who was disguised as X to watch over Magnus. He was the one who recruited Samariah to the Valkryies, and the one who sent her to claim his soul.
- You three have fought valiantly against Surt and have done a Tremendous job of rebinding the Wolf.
- Odin presents a PowerPoint that displays Magnus and his friends courageous deeds, and decrees Magnus an Enherjar once more, with his friends Blitz and Hearth to visit when they please. Blitz opens a aparell store, Hearth takes a runestones class with the All-Father, and Sam is made Odin's Valkarie to go on top secret missions. The fallen Valkries of Gunnilla's team are given a Viking burial.
