- Harald invades with 10,000 men to the north of England with 300 ships 🚢
- Harold Godwinson marches north to fight Hadrada
- As Harald Hadrada was going to invade York, he realized that he forgot all his armor and this was the biggest mistake ever because Harold’s army was ready and had everything they needed
- Harald Hadrada Dies
- Harold Godwinson’s army seemed unstoppable as they were on the bridge but a lone viking axeman managed to kill more than 50 people but one of the soldiers of Harold Godwinson’s shot him accurately to the groin
- Celebrations are cut short
- Harold marched with 7000 to 15000 housecarls(well armed soldiers) to the north after he was informed because he thought it would originally come from the south
- Because of Harald’s weak defense, the Anglo saxons arrowed him in the neck
- Harold just found out that the duke of Normandy is going to invade from the south. Now they have to go all back to the other side of England making Harold have a huge disadvantage.
