- World war 1 was caused due to 4 M.A.I.N reasons. One of these reasons includes Nationalism, which meant that slavic people in Bosnia and Hezegovina no longer wanted to be a part of Austria Hungry and wanted their own nation but were rejceted.
- Another M.A.I.N reason for the great war was Alliances, which meant countries throughout Europe made mutual defense agreements. These treaties meant that is one country was attacked, allied countries were bound to defend them like Russia and Serbia defending in each other.

- The immediate casue of world war 1 however was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife. A serbian terrorist group was sent to assasinate Archduke due to Serbia wanting to take over Bosnia and Herzefovina and protesting against Austria-Hungary. This led to Austria declaring war on Serbia and other countries getting invloved due to to their alliances.
