- Genghis Khan used a Chinese miliary formation during his battles, he was a gifted strategist, and would scare the enemy into surrender and if they didn't comply, he would slaughter them all which is how he used those tactics to gain power and conquer other nations

- Genghis Khan's descendants, known as the Khanates, consolidated their power through their military campaigns. They completed their conquest of China, invaded Korea, Leveled the Russian city of Kiev, reached the banks of the Adriatic Sea, Venice and Vienna were also within their grasp. These military campaigns allowed them to consolidate their power

- The Mongolians had many strategies to maintain their power which include religious tolerance, some Mongol emperors adopted culture of the people they ruled over, some became Muslim like the Ilkhans and the Golden Horde. During the Pax Mongolica, the Mongols ensured safe passages for travelers and missionaries and etc.
