  • I am awfully tired my 3 month old is waking all through the night. I never get rest.
  • My baby has been sleeping through the night since he was 2 weeks.
  • Please tell me how you do it. What is your secret?
  • Oh it's not secret he sleeps with me in my bed.
  • You mean co-sleeping! My baby's pediatrician said that's a huge no-no. Have you heard of SIDS? Sharing a bed with your baby increases risk of suffocation, strangulation and entrapment.

  • That's why it's just him and I in the bed. It makes for easy breastfeeding, I know my baby feels secure and we have a bond like none other
  • Are you not afraid you would roll over on him? He should sleep on a firm surface on his back. He could still be close to you and continue to bond.
  • Its rare that a sober mother would roll on their baby. Co-sleeping has gone on for ages. Its appropriate to sleep with your mother. I
  • Approximately 3500 infants die annually in the USA from sleep related infant deaths including SIDs, accidental suffocation and strangulation in beds.
  • I keep all pillows and loose blankets away from my baby while sleeping. We have our perfect routine that allows for me and baby to be well rested.
  • Please consider the facts, you can still co sleep without baby in bed with you but in close range. There are so many close range cribs that allow safe bonding
  • He's 7 months old now, and it worked for his brother and sister. I will continue to do what works for us.
