- One day, there were 3 girls. Athena (brown hair), Sanna (brown hair) and Tamera (purple hair). They were good in studies. But today, Athena did not get the concept to differentiate between Urban and Rural. She was too shy to ask the teacher her doubt.
- Okay Mam!
- Okay students. Study well for your Civics test tomorrow. Urban and Rural Administration tomorrow.

- Urban usually refers to cities and towns, They are more developed compared to Rural areas. Many people migrate from Rural areas for job opportunities
- But they also have their cons. There is high population in Urban areas which causes land scarcity. There is high pollution due to-?
- Due to the amount of industries, high populati-on and vehicles.
- Right! Well Rural refers to villages. Rural areas have a lot of vacant lands as there is less development. Here, less pollution is there as there are few vehicles driven here. And more greener it is compared to urban areas.
- Due to religion, caste, gender, culture etc. I get it! I will write what I got to know!
- The cons are-They don't have that much development. The jobs are mainly focused on agricultural activities. In rural areas of India, there is always a lot of difference in social status.
