- We were supposed to watch the fireworks together and count down to the new year
- Why is he not coming. I've been waiting for so long I can't believe he stood me up again
- Scene 2
- This just isn't working maybe it's because I never really truly loved you

- I'm breaking up with you

- Why are you sitting here alone?

- Grace has been sitting waiting for her boyfriend to come and he never came. She is feeling devastated because not only that it's new years eve it's also their 5 month anniversary. This is a wide shot it is used to emphasise how lonely Grace is feeling
- Grace just got a text from her boyfriend saying that he broke up with her. She is devastated and starts sobbing. This is a point of view shot (POV) because it shows the phone in position of graces vision
- Hi I'm Carson
- I was wondering why were you crying
- I'm Grace
- I'm also still sad about my boyfriend or ex boyfriend I guess. Maybe I should go Carson treats me better that my ex boyfriend ever did.
- It starts raining heavily but Grace is too heartbroken to care as she is crying she notices that she's not wet anymore. She looks up to see a boy holding an umbrella. This is a wide shot to show the boy and girl together
- Should I go tomorrow but I just broke up with my boyfriend.
- As she saw the boy she couldn't stop noticing how cute he looked as the boy gave her a warm smile. Just then the clock strokedmidnight and fireworks eruptedbehind him in the glittering skies. This is a long shot because you can see the boy's whole body.
- Maybe you could tell me tomorrow at the silver swan restaurant 6pm sharp. I would love to pick you up
- Carson is having a conversation with her and then she starts flirting with Grace and asked her on a date. This is a two person shot.
