  • Korean War to your right.  1550-1553
  • North Korea was mainly allied with the Soviet Union and China Because they were all three communist country's.
  • South Korea and The United  States were allies. They were on the same team because USA wanted to contain communism.
  • We would invade almost all of north Korea but when we got to the end of Korea china would be there and we didn't want to start another world war.
  • We were trying to contain communism so it wouldn't spread, and be bigger.
  • And also we don't want communism to spread from Korea to the United States.
  • The battle of the Imjin river. This battle was special because the chinese troops attacked the UN and tried to recapture Seoul but the british and American troops fought them off.
  • The battle of Seoul. The battle of Seoul was significant because north Korea crossed the 38th parallel and crossed the Han river and took over the capital of south Korea within just a few weeks of the war. 
  • Operation Ripper was special because it was intended to destroy the Chinese people's volunteer army and the Korean army around Seoul and it was the largest artillary bombardment in the history of the Korean war.
  • The battle of Eerie was special because the outpost was taken over several times by both teams. The chinese attacked the hill but lost  many troops and then lost to the phillipeno army ending the war
  • MAJOR  Battles of the Korean war. 
  • 36,914 died in the korean war but 406,000 injured and died
  • HOW MANY DIED.
